Call Recording and Monitoring Notice
Call Recording and Monitoring Notice
Effective date: 2 October 2026
This notice explains how call recording and monitoring features may work with RoboConnect. It should be read with the Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum, and Terms & Conditions.
1. What may be recorded
Where enabled for an account, the service may create call recordings and related information such as caller and recipient numbers, time, duration, agent or extension, routing, disposition, and call activity logs. Features and availability depend on the customer’s configuration, plan, and technical setup.
2. Customer controls and responsibilities
The business customer controls whether and how it uses recording or monitoring features, subject to available settings. The customer is responsible for deciding whether recording or monitoring is appropriate, informing callers, employees, agents, and other affected people, obtaining any required consent, and using recordings only for disclosed and lawful purposes. RoboConnect does not determine the customer’s legal basis for recording a particular call.
3. Notice and consent
Customers should configure an announcement, IVR notice, or other suitable disclosure before recording where required, and should provide staff and agents with clear workplace notices. Applicable requirements may vary with the parties, call purpose, location, and sector. Customers should obtain legal advice for their use case and should not assume that enabling a recording feature by itself provides notice or consent.
4. Access and security
Customers should restrict recordings to authorized users, protect account credentials, and avoid sharing recordings through insecure channels. RoboConnect may access recordings only as needed for service delivery, support, troubleshooting, security, or lawful obligations, subject to applicable access controls and agreements.
5. Retention and deletion
Recording availability and retention depend on account settings, storage capacity, the customer’s plan, and the applicable agreement. Customers should confirm their retention needs, export any records they must keep, and delete recordings that are no longer required. Suspension or termination may restrict access; recordings are not guaranteed to remain available after account closure.
6. Questions
For questions about recording features, contact [email protected]. For legal questions about notice or consent, consult qualified counsel.
