Security Overview
Security Overview
Effective date: 2 October 2026
RoboConnect treats the security of business communications and service data as an operational priority. This overview describes our general approach; it is not a certification, guarantee that incidents cannot occur, or a substitute for account-specific security terms.
1. Account and access security
Access to service information is intended to be limited to authorized users and operational personnel who need it for service delivery, support, administration, or security. Customers should use unique credentials, restrict administrator privileges, remove access promptly when roles change, secure agent devices, and notify RoboConnect of suspected unauthorized access.
2. Data and service safeguards
RoboConnect uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service and data handled. Safeguards may include access restrictions, secure configuration, monitoring, backups, and protective measures used by service providers. The exact controls can vary by component and provider; contact us for information relevant to a proposed deployment. No public policy should be read as a claim of a particular certification or encryption method unless separately documented.
3. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for protecting passwords and devices, managing user permissions, securing their own networks, using supported software, training staff, and deciding which data may be recorded or entered into the system. Do not share credentials or send secrets and sensitive recordings through ordinary email or public channels.
4. Incident reporting
Report suspected vulnerabilities, account compromise, or security incidents promptly to [email protected]. Include the affected service, approximate time, impact, and safe contact details. Do not exploit a suspected vulnerability, access another customer’s information, or publicly disclose details before giving RoboConnect a reasonable opportunity to investigate.
5. Response and notification
RoboConnect will assess reports and take steps appropriate to the circumstances. If a confirmed incident materially affects customer data in RoboConnect’s control, RoboConnect will communicate with affected customers as required by applicable law and the relevant agreement, subject to lawful restrictions. Customers remain responsible for their own incident assessments and notifications where they control the affected data.
6. Vendors and service dependencies
Cloud hosting, telecom, DID, email, support, and other providers may be part of service delivery. Their security practices and infrastructure are governed by their own controls and agreements. Customers may request information about relevant providers and service locations from [email protected].
7. Limitations and updates
Security measures reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. Internet services, customer devices, carriers, and third-party systems may be exposed to vulnerabilities or outages. RoboConnect may update this overview as its services and practices change.
